X-Files: I Want to Believe has a lot of problems, mostly that Chris Carter actually thought this script was a good idea to write let alone film, but the weirdest and most cringingly lame moment comes in this terrible attempt at satire. I’m not sure why they thought it was a good idea to include this in the final cut but a better question to ask is why they thought it was a good idea to even bother editing it instead of burning all the film.
