I’ve always liked the Yeah Yeah Yeahs but their upcoming 3rd album “It’s Blitz!” is kind of blowing me away. All the other bands that cropped up in New York in the early 00’s, bands like The Strokes and Interpol, all failed to capitalize on their early promise and seemed to fizzle out of ideas by their 3rd record leaving the Yeah Yeah Yeahs the only group that seems to have gotten better with each subsequent record. The above clip is the brillaint first single from the album “Zero” and a good indicator of the album’s dancetastic sound.
