No one ever believes me when I say how much I like The Killers, there seems to be some sort of stigma against enjoying the band, but I really do think they’re one of the best and strangest pop groups working today. Their new single “Spaceman”, a nearly 5 minute long synth pop epic about alien abduction (!), is brilliantly unique and uncomfortably infectious. The video is even stranger, looking like a disturbing cross between Xanadu and Mad Max, and is so hilariously insane that you almost cringe at it’s weirdness. We should all appreciate a band this bonkers.
